A Step-by-Step Guide to Making Paneer Paratha

Today we are going to make for you, Paneer paratha. It is very tasty in taste. People of all ages like it. You can take it anywhere, be it children’s school tiffin or elders’ office tiffin.

Ingredients for Paneer paratha recipe:

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup coriander, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • salt as per taste
  • Ghee or oil as required

How to make

  • First of all, add salt and a little oil to the wheat flour, mix it and add little water little by little and knead it well.
  • After kneading, keep it covered for half an hour.
  • Now grate the cheese and keep it in a vessel, add finely chopped coriander, onion and green chillies.
  • After this add garam masala, cumin-coriander powder, red chilli and salt as per taste and mix well.
  • Heat the pan.
  • Now make balls of the kneaded dough and fill each ball with cheese masala.
  • Roll out the filled balls and put the paratha on the tawa. Apply ghee or oil as per your wish and make all the parathas in the same manner.
  • Now your Paneer Paratha is ready, serve it with tamarind chutney, tomato sauce or spicy chutney.

Tips:-

Knead the soft dough: While making the paratha, for soft paneer paratha, knead the dough gently and add a little oil to it.

Rolling evenly: To roll the paratha, roll it evenly with a rolling pin, so that it cooks properly and becomes tasty.

Amount of Paneer in Paratha: Right amount of Paneer will make Paratha tasty and rich. There should not be too much cheese or too little.

Fresh Paneer: Use fresh paneer, so that your parathas become soft and tender and the taste also increases.

Cook slowly: Cook the paratha slowly so that it gets cooked properly from outside and inside.

Serve: Serve Paneer Paratha hot, which will make it taste even more delicious.
