HONOLULU (AP) — Hawaii authorities are looking for a person who escaped from the state’s psychiatric hospital outdoors Honolulu and flew to Maui.
Honolulu police say Randall Saito left the Hawaii State Hospital at 9 a.m. Sunday and did not return.
Maui County police say Saito flew to Maui shortly after he left the hospital, however they do not know the place he’s now.
Saito was discovered not responsible of homicide by purpose of madness for the 1979 killing of a lady at a shopping center.
The fifty nine-yr-previous is 6 ft (1.eight meters) tall and 220 kilos. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Saito was dedicated to the hospital in 1981.
Protection attorneys sought to have him launched in 2000. However prosecutors objected, saying Saito match the standards of a basic serial killer.
