Tune in to FLORIDA TODAY’s Facebook Live on Dec. 20, 2017.

We have a special Facebook Live coming up, and we promise it’ll be special.

FLORIDA TODAY, in conjunction with USA TODAY and the USA TODAY Network, will participate in Facebook’s holiday giving campaign at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20 — hosting a Facebook Live on our Facebook page to help drive donations to Promise in Brevard.

The Melbourne-based nonprofit, which helps individuals with disabilities live and work, won a $100,000 A Community Thrives grant in July from the Gannett Foundation. Promise received the grant in part for promoting arts and culture, education and wellness.

During the Promise in Brevard Facebook Live at its Promise campus in West Melbourne, FLORIDA TODAY’s food and dining writer Suzy Fleming Leonard will team up with community leaders and the team at Promise to create an artists’ mural on tar paper. Facebook Live viewers can donate and comment with what family-friendly art they want drawn on the canvas. Eventually, the art will be hung in the Promise Creative Arts Center.
