A man was found shot to death Wednesday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, police said.
Officers responding to a call of a person shot about 9 p.m. found the 30-year-old on a sidewalk in the 700 block of North Trumbell with gunshot wounds to his abdomen and back, Chicago Police said.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has not confirmed the death.
Area North detectives were investigating.
